On Monday, Dec. 7th, we ventured to Garfield Elementary School in Port Huron, where an amazing group of 2nd Graders presented us with much-needed donations, including money they raised from having a Lemonade Stand. We are so touched that these young people thought of us, & worked so hard to make a difference in animals’ lives! We brought along a former rescue dog “Layla” – & she & the kids enjoyed each others’ company! We were honored to be able to share with them who we are, what our mission is, & discuss the many things that Humane Society SNAP does for the community. THANK YOU, AGAIN – GARFIELD ELEMENTARY 2ND GRADERS!!
