Sadie is a 4-5 year old chow/cattle dog mix at approximately 50 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, Heartworm tested negative, current on heartworm and flea preventative. Sadie was born at our facility 4 years ago and was adopted at the age of 12 weeks old. Unfortunately, the family she grew to love was no longer able to care for her. She is now in our adoption program and we have found her to be a very intelligent and devoted dog. It does appear that she was not socialized outside of the home. Sadie is apprehensive with new things.  She wasn’t excited about car rides, but is getting better and now gets excited to go on car rides. All of us, here at SNAP, have fallen in love with her, and she is comfortable being kenneled and is potty trained.  Sadie is the alpha dog, so if you have another dog and are interested in Sadie, then a couple meet n’ greets will have to be scheduled.  Home visit is required for Sadie’s adoption process.

She has a strong personality and we hope to find a person/family that has experience with strong, intelligent-minded dogs. Sadie loves the outdoors and loves going for walks, so a fenced in yard would be preferred; where she can run around and explore to her hearts content.
